#8 The Necklace

There is more than one moral or message to the story "The Necklace." One is that money can't buy everything. Also another is that you should always tell the truth no matter what. The last one is that you should not try to be something or someone you're not.

The moral about money can't buy everything is so true. Sure it's a fact that you need money to survive like for food, water, clothes, and other needs. Money can come in handy when you want something to, but you should always be realistic. Meaning that you shouldn't waste your money all the time on things that could leave you broke or on things that are very useless. One issue that a lot of people struggle with is that they think that money can buy happiness which is not true. Sure you might be happy for the moment, but it can't full fill you. For example, you may have lost a friendship and if you think that buying a new car can take there place after you get the car you will feel the same way that you felt before.
